If a bike has 5 gears instead of 4 gears, then its ride becomes smooth on the highway. Hence, Hero MotoCorp has made some new changes in its 125cc engine bike.

Hero Motocorp has introduced its 125cc bike Glamour 125 FI BS6 with a new BS6 engine and 5 speed gearbox. With some new features in this bike, it has tried to attract its look even more than before. Through this bike, the company will target youth. The new Glamour will now compete directly with Honda's Shine.

In the new Glamour, the company has installed a 125cc single cylinder engine with BS6 component which generates power of 10.73 bhp and torque of 10.6 Nm. This engine gets 19 percent more power as compared to the older version. But the most important thing is that the new Glamour now offers a 5-speed gearbox. Whereas earlier it used to come with a 4 speed gearbox. With the help of 5 speed gear, now it will not be difficult to ride at high speed and there will be no complaint of vibration in it.

This bike has discs in the front and drum brakes in the rear. Whereas for better ride and grip, it has 100-section tires and 80-section tires in the front.

The Hero Glamour 125 FI BS6 is built by the company on a new diamond-type frame to give it better rigidity and handling. With the new frame, the company has also increased its clearance and suspension travel. Hero claims that the front telescopic front forks come with 14 per cent more travel and the rear 10 percent with more travel. Talking about ground clearance, it has now increased to 180 mm after increasing 30 mm more.

Talking about the features of the Glamour 125 FI, it has a digital inset analog speedometer. Its display gives information about fuel level, trip meter and odometer readings. In addition, it also provides information on real time mileage. Talking about the headlamp, it has a similar halogen unit. The tail lamp LED is given and traditional bulbs are always found in indicators. The bike is available in four color options - Sports Red, Techno Blue, Tornado Gray and Candy Red.


The new Glamour has been introduced in two variants, including drum and disc brake options. Talking about the price, the ex showroom price of its drum brake variant is Rs 68,900 while its disc brake variant is priced at Rs 72,400.
