The best part of its design is that it has a clear SUV character. This is the biggest challenge in making sub 4 meter SUV. Its design not only looks rough and tough, but premium inputs are also well placed. Overall, it gives a modern compact SUV look. Its front and side profile gives a strong car feel. The design of the back may seem a bit complex to some, but it enhances the premiumness of the vehicle and the LED backlights of the vehicle look awesome especially at night.

In the interior, you will not find anything like any old Mahindra vehicle. In terms of the design and quality of the cabin, it can be considered as the beginning of a new era for Mahindra. There is a combination of dual-tone, glossy black, matte black and silver from the dashboard to the doors. It can also be given good numbers in terms of quality and fit-finish. The front seats are quite comfortable and spacious and on the back seats, you also get a good leg, head and shoulder room. Three normal height people don't have trouble sitting back. However, you will definitely find it less boot space.

Features such as ABS-EBD, corner braking control, all four disc brakes, tire position display (depending on which side the tire position is), smart steering system (steering feedback according to different conditions) are standard.

7 airbags, front parking sensors, heated ORVMs, sunroof, parking camera with dynamic assist, tire Tronics (tells air pressure), push-button start, auto-dimming IRVM, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, micro-hybrid Technology, 17 inch Diamond cut alloy wheel, ESP, HSA, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple car play and Android auto get long list of features.

All this combination makes it a capable, premium, safe and comfortable SUV. Mahindra has not launched any basic model, so its price starts slightly above the competition.

The 1.5-liter diesel engine gives around 115 Bhp of power and 300 Nm of segment-best torque. These figures start to feel as you drive the car. Especially the torque of 300 Nm gives you a full chance of fun driving, city roads or overtaking between high-speed traffic on the highway, this engine does not let you down.

But here we would particularly like to talk about the 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine because Mahindra was known only for the diesel engine till now. This 1.2-liter engine is not only the most powerful in its segment, but it is also smooth. This engine also made us a good performer according to both the city and the highway. As far as ride comfort is concerned, it is good in this and it performs well in terms of handling, although body roll does not give that much confidence on sharp turns.

Apart from Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, the strongest player in this segment will be competing with vehicles like Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Honda WR-V. On the 21st, Hyundai is also bringing its vehicle Venue in the same segment. The competition is certainly tough, but experts believe that if more good products come from a segment, then the entire segment grows, that is, everyone has a chance to make their own place.
