The new Isuzu MU-X has increased in size with the SUV's length being increased by 25 mm, width 10 mm and height 35 mm compared to the previous model. So, together with all this, the length, width and height of the SUV has become 4,850 mm, 1,870 mm and 1,875 mm respectively. Even the wheelbase of the MU-X has increased by 10 mm to 2,855 mm. Talking about ground clearance, it has also been increased from 220 mm to 235 mm. The new MU-X is provided with LED DRL with 20-inch projector headlamps, 20-inch alloy wheels and new LED taillamps, body color rear bumper and skid plate at the rear.

Talking about the cabin, the Isuzu MU-X has a black and brown interior with a copper colored design on the dashboard. The SUV's cabin gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV gets a 4.2-inch MID unit, electronic parking brakes and rotary dial with new instrument clusters. The Isuzu MU-X launched in Thailand has two diesel engine options including 1.9-liter and 3.0-liter engines. The SUV's 1.9-liter engine produces 148 bhp power at 3,600 rpm and 350 Nm peak torque at 1,800-2,600 rpm, while the more powerful 3.0-liter oil burner engine produces 187 bhp at 3,600 rpm and 450 Nm peak at 1,600-2,600 rpm.
