The Cabin Of The New Generation Mahindra XUV500, Gets A Glimpse Of The Features

The new generation of Mahindra XUV500 has once again appeared during testing, whose photos have surfaced online and this time the features of the SUV have been revealed. The biggest attraction here is the wide display as seen in Mercedes cars which have two separate units for infotainment and instrumentation. The cabin of the new generation XUV has a 12.25-inch display that is comparable to Mercedes cars. Other things to note in the car are the dual-tone beige and black dashboard and multi-functional flat-bottom steering wheel.

We got a lot of information about this by looking at the SUV seen last time. The cabin of the new XUV500 has a new multi-functional steering wheel which is a flat-bottom unit for this model. The panel on the central console is currently showing a temporary unit, although we have seen a new lever for the automatic transmission, the emergency brake lever remains the same. Recent spy photos also showed a glimpse of the dashboard, whose central vents have now been replaced under the infotainment display.

With the new generation XUV500, a horizontal display has been provided for the infotainment system, apart from this, new seats have also appeared which have come in black fabric upholstery. This is not the first time that the XUV500 fully covered with stickers has been seen in India during testing. The SUV is covered with heavy camouflage stickers, even after looking at the body panels of the SUV, it can be said that this is the model to be produced. The rear of the new XUV500 has seen temporary tail lamps, which also makes it clear that major changes will be made, including the front and rear of the car.

Mahindra is also expected to be given a petrol engine with the new generation XUV500 which will be a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Apart from this, a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine can also be provided with the SUV which can produce 187 bhp power and 380 Nm peak torque. The company will offer these engine options in manual and automatic transmissions. After the launch, the second-generation Mahindra XUV500 will be competing in India against the MG Hector Plus, Tata Gravitas, and the 7-seater Hyundai Creta.
