Nissan is going to launch a very new subcompact SUV Magnate in the Indian market very soon, which has been waiting for a long time. The company had informed about the commencement of production of Magnate about a week ago and now this SUV has started reaching the dealership. Nissan Magnate's brochure has leaked recently, revealing a lot of information including engine options, colors, transmission options, and fuel efficiency. This will be Nissan's first subcompact SUV in India built on the CNF-A Plus platform which is currently being used in the Renault Tribe.

Two petrol engine options will be offered with Nissan Magnate, the first being a 1.0-liter B4D dual-VVT naturally aspirated engine and the second a 1.0-liter HAR0 turbocharged engine. The 1.0-liter normal engine is 71 bhp and 96 Nm peak torque capacity with a 5-speed manual gearbox normally given. Magnate's turbocharged engine produces 99 Bhp of power and 160 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual and CVT transmission. While the naturally aspirated engine runs 18.75 mm in a liter of petrol, the turbocharged engine runs 20 km / l with a manual gearbox and 17.7 km / l with the CVT gearbox.

Talking about the features, the upcoming Nissan Magnate will be offered with many premium features including LED by-projector headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Many more features are included such as auto connectivity, 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, voice recognition, rear-view camera, push-button start, cruise control, 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system. A pack with Nissan Magnate will also be provided, which will provide many features like a wireless charger, air purifier, ambient mood lighting, paddle lamps, JBL speakers, and more.
