Volvo India has finally removed the curtain from the all-new S60 which will be launched in the Indian market next year. The company will start booking the new Volvo S60 in January 2021 and the car is to be launched in March 2021. The S60, which has been launched in the global market two years ago, has received a slew of tweaks including widened grille, changed headlamps, changed C-shaped LED taillights and new alloy wheels. Thor hammer LED DRLs are provided with the car, apart from this, it runs on 19-inch alloy wheels.

The new sedan will not be offered in a diesel engine, so the 2021 S60 will be given only a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 160 Bhp of power and 300 Nm of peak torque. Volvo India has also confirmed that the Volvo XC40 recharge of the electric mobility segment will also be launched in India in 2021 itself. The new S60 sedan has been given a very attractive look by Volvo India and will come with many sharper style and cut lines than before.

Volvo's new S60 is among the Swedish carmaker's cars that have been promised to launch in the Indian market in the next 3 years. Apart from the new S60, the company has announced to launch Volvo's fully electric SUV XC40 in 2021. A dual-motor powertrain with Volvo XC40 recharge is provided which comes with a 150 kW electric motor on both axles and is capable of generating a total of 408 bhp power. These electric motors have a battery pack of 78 kW which is about 400 km range.
