Tata Motors launched the Tata Altroz Premium Hatchback in the Indian market some time ago and now the company has launched its new XM + variant. The ex-showroom price of this variant in Delhi has been kept at Rs 6.6 lakh, which has been introduced only with a petrol engine and will be replaced between XM and XM style. The recently launched XM + variant has been offered in four colors - Downtown Red, Avenue White, High Street Gold, and Midtown Gray. With this new variant, the company is running with the intention of making many features of the top model available to the customers in the lower variant.

Tata has offered Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, voice alert, voice command recognition, remote foldable key, and 16-inch wheels in the XM +. Prior to this, the company has given an auto climate control feature with the XT variant of Altroz. The petrol variant of Tata Altroz XT is priced at Rs. 6.84 lakhs in India. The Altroz ​​XT showroom price with the diesel engine is Rs 8.44 lakh. The company is also selling Altroz in the XT LUX variants, whose petrol variants in India have an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.23 lakh, which goes up to Rs 8.33 lakh for the diesel model.

Tata Motors has made the new Altroz available in 5 variants XE, XM, XT, XZ and XZ-O-. The base variant of the car has features like double barrel headlamps, hub cap with steel wheels, chrome finish on the dashboard, 4-inch LED instrument console and normal steering wheel. Talking about safety, this car is equipped with dual front airbags, EBD with ABS, rear parking sensors, high speed limiter and many more. The car is normally made available in Eco and Drive modes.

Top models of Tata Altroz include dual tone alloy wheels, LED DRLs with projector headlamps, LED foglamps, auto climate control, auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers, multifunctional steering wheel, one touch auto down window, front and rear armrest, 12 volt socket Also on the back side is equipped with features like AC vents. Apart from this, the car has been given custom lighting, ambient lighting, fabric upholstery seats, umbrella holder, 24 storage space and many more premium features for the infotainment system and console.

The Altroz launched by Tata Motors in two engine options will compete primarily in the Indian market with the upcoming new generation Hyundai i20 in addition to the Baleno and Jazz. Tata has been given a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with Altroz diesel that produces 89 Bhp of power and 200 Nm of peak torque. Apart from this, the car has been given a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 85 bhp power and 113 Nm peak torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is fitted with both engines. Altroz is competing with cars like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza and Honda Jazz.
