In October 2020, Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 806,848 vehicles, a 35 percent increase over the October 2019 sales, which is also the company's highest monthly sales ever.

The auto industry is slowly emerging from the clutches of the coronavirus epidemic, and with this, Hero MotoCorp recorded its highest monthly sales ever in October 2020. The world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer reported total sales (domestic + exports) of 8,06,848 units during this period. Last year, it registered a growth of 35 percent over the month when the company sold 514,509 units. In September 2020, the company sold 715,718 vehicles, which was the highest monthly sales this year and surpassed the figure for October.

Hero MotoCorp's domestic sales grew by 34.7 percent to 791,137 units in October 2020 as compared to 586,998 units sold in October last year. The company's exports also saw a significant increase of 28.14 percent in the total volume. Hero sent 15,711 two-wheelers out of the country last month, while 12,260 units were exported a year ago. For motorcycles, Hero sold 732,498 units in October 2020, an increase of 32.53 percent over the same period last year. Meanwhile, scooter sales stood at 74,350 units last month, a 59.63 percent increase from the 46,576 units sold in October 2019.

As far as the sales figures for this financial year are concerned, Hero has sold 29,39,553 motorcycles and 245,246 scooters between April and October 2020. This is a decline of 23.21 percent and 19.82 percent over the previous year.
