The 2021 Toyota Fortuner will launch in 10 variants including two-wheel-drive (2WD) and four-wheel-drive (4WD), 9 body color options, and three interior color trims.


The new Toyota Fortuner facelift is set to go on sale in India next month and information about its variants has been revealed online before its launch. The 2021 Toyota Fortuner will be available in 10 variants including 2-wheel-drive (2WD) and 4-wheel-drive (4WD), 9 body colors, and three interior color trims. The Toyota Fortuner Legendary base trim and mid-trim will be offered as 2WD versions while the Sigma car has 4WD variants. Many changes will be seen inside and outside it.

The engines on the new Toyota Fortuner are the same as before, but the strength figures have improved slightly. The car's 2.7-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine now produces 164 bhp and 245 Nm of peak torque and will come with either a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox. The 2.8-liter, the four-cylinder diesel engine now produces 201 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. This one is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.


From the outside, the car includes a new grille, pre-thin LED projector-beam headlights with LED DRL, a new front bumper with large fog lamp housing, and a new silver skid plate. Along with this, multi-spoke alloy wheels and new mirrors will also be found and there are also new LED taillights at the back. A new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system can be found in the cabin with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Apart from this, a wireless phone charger, 9-speaker JBL audio system, 360-degree view camera, seven airbags, and cruise control are also likely to be given.
