Kawasaki India Hikes Bike Prices By ₹ 20,000 For 2021

Kawasaki India has announced its price list for 2021 and the Japanese manufacturer has increased prices in its motorcycle range. The price hike starts from ₹ 10,000 which goes up to Rs 20,000 depending on the model and will be applicable from 1 January 2021. The price increase affects all Kawasaki motorcycles except for the H2 model and the KLX range. Kawasaki has become the second bike company to announce a price increase for 2021 after Hero MotoCorp, while Java Motorcycle will also increase the prices of its bikes in January.

The prices of Kawasaki Z650 and W800 have increased from Rs 10,000 and are now priced at Rs 6.04 lakh and Rs 7.09 lakh. At the same time, the prices of Kawasaki Ninja 650, Versace 650, Vulcan S and Ninja 1000 SX have been increased from Rs 15,000. The prices of Kawasaki Z900 and Versace 1000 have increased by up to Rs 20,000. At the end of the year, the company announced discounts, free accessories and special offers on its 650 cc range and even the W800 retro style motorcycle.


Talking about e-bikes, Kawasaki India is going to bring BS6 Ninja 300 in 2021 which will come in the first quarter of the year. Apart from this, 2021 Ninja ZX-10R will also be launched in the middle of the year. Although the brand has not announced any plans to bring affordable bikes to market, there are rumors of Kawasaki W175 retro style motorcycle coming into the country.
