Jeep India has launched the facelift model of Compass SUV in India, which has an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 16.99 lakh in Delhi. The new Jeep Compass facelift has been introduced in 4 variants - Sport, Longitude, Limited, and the new Top Model S, and the ex-showroom price of its top model goes up to Rs 24.49 lakhs. So while this SUV looks very much like it did before, the company has made major changes in its cabin and features. Minor changes have been made to the exterior of the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift, here one will have to look closely to understand the difference between the current model and the upcoming model.

The SUV gets new color options, minor cosmetic changes, a changed 7-slat grille, new fully LED headlights, new alloy wheels, and new LED taillights. The next and previous bumpers have been changed and wide honeycomb mesh air dams have been installed in it. The cabin of the Jeep Compass facelift has a new dashboard that comes with a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen. The car has better upholstery and its steering wheel is also new, in addition to the updated instrument panel. The storage capacity of the central console has also been increased.

The biggest change in features is the new and larger size 10.1-inch touchscreen unit that comes with the new 10-inch HD Instrument Cluster Display. It is based on FCA's new Uconnect 5 technology that works on Android. In such a situation, it has been provided with connected car features that get voice command assist and over-the-air updates and the SUV comes with features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. As before, many features such as 7 airbags, ABS and EBD, Electronic Stability Program, Brake Assist, Terrain Modes, Hill Assist, and Hill Decent Control are provided with the Compass facelift.

The first such BS6 engines will be provided with the 2021 Jeep Compass facelift, which includes multi-air petrol and multi-jet diesel engines. A 1.4-liter, four-cylinder, multi-air petrol engine with a 6-speed manual or 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission options are given. A choice of 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, the multi-jet diesel engine is given. The new Jeep Compass facelift is going to compete in the Indian market with cars like Volkswagen T-Rock, Skoda Karok, 2020 Tata Harrier, and MG Hector facelift.
