Yamaha Motor India has introduced the FZ FI and FZS-FI 150 cc motorcycle line-up for 2021 years. The 2021 Yamaha FZ FI range starts at Rs 1,03,700, while the 2021 Yamaha FZS-FI line-up starts at Rs 1,07,200 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The bikes now come with new color options, new features, and Bluetooth connectivity. Yamaha India introduced the Bluetooth feature on the FZS-FI in December last year with the Vintage Edition and now this connectivity option has also come on the standard range of bikes.

The 2021 Yamaha FZ FI now comes with a side-stand engine cut-off switch, while the company says that the exhaust has been tuned for better sound. The bike has been introduced in two color options - Racing Blue and Metallic Black. Apart from this, the weight of the motorcycle has been reduced from 137 kg to 135 kg, which will help in better handling. On the other hand, the 2021 Yamaha FZS-FI gets a new matte red paint scheme. Its four current color options are Dark Matte Blue, Matte Black, Dark Knight, and Vintage Edition. Many features such as call back, e-lock, locket my bike, and hazard lights can be used with the help of a smartphone app on Motorcycle Connect X.

The Yamaha FZ range runs on a 149 cc engine that produces 12.2 Bhp and 13.6 Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This Yamaha offering competes with the Hero Extreme 160R, Honda X-Blade, and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V in the market.
