Royal Enfield has launched the 2021 model of Himalayan adventure tourer in India and it has been introduced with some important changes. The prices of the new Himalayan have already increased and now the ex-showroom price is Rs 2.01 lakh, which is already Rs 6,000 more. The biggest change in the bike is that it has now included the tripper navigation system which was first introduced in the Royal Enfield Meteor 350. Apart from this, Himalayan has also got some new colors. The motorcycle will also be sold in new Granite Black, Mirage Silver, and Pine Green colors.

With this launch, Himalayan has now got the Make it Your initiative, which allows customers to change the look of all motorcycles. This work can be done on the company's app, website, and dealership. Apart from the turn-by-turn navigation pod, the new model also gets many upgrades like a seat, rear carrier, front rack, and new windscreen, which will help adventure touring enthusiasts.

The 2021 model Royal Enfield Himalayan runs on the same 411 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 24.3 bhp and 32 Nm of peak torque. The suspension of the bike is the same as before, with 41 mm telescopic forks in the front and mono-shock in the rear. The new Himalayan has been given dual-channel ABS and the rear wheel antilock braking system can be discontinued for better off-roading.
