Triumph Motorcycle India has launched its cheapest adventure tourer Tiger 850 Sport, which has an ex-showroom price of Rs 11.95 lakh in India. Triumph has introduced this motorcycle for the first time according to the bike buyers and those who like tourer bikes. The new 850 Sport is about Rs 1.75 lakh cheaper than the Tiger 900. Most parts of the new Triumph Tiger 850 Sport are sourced from the Tiger 900 which includes frame, engine, and mechanical. With this bike, Triumph India believes that many new members will be part of the Triumph family with it. However, it is still an expensive bike whose new variants have been introduced in India.

The new Triumph Tiger 850 Sport was introduced last year and is the company's first model in 2021. The 888cc T-plane engine has been fitted with the bike, which is taken from the Tiger 900. This engine produces 84 bhp at 8500 rpm and 82 Nm of peak torque at 6500 rpm. Modern technology has been provided with the bike which makes it a very good option for urban roads. The company has equipped the bike's engine with a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. It is a ride-by-wire bike with road and rain modes.

Talking about style, the Triumph Tiger 850 is similar in appearance to the Tiger 900. Its sharpened face and slender frame are all taken from the old model. The front has 19-inch wheels and the rear 17-inch wheels, while its ergonomics can be changed and the seat height can be increased to 20 mm. The frame, sub-frame, suspension and brakes of the new bike have been taken from the Tiger 900. It has been introduced in two colors - Graphite and Diablo Red, in addition to Graphite and Caspian Balu.

The Tiger 850 Sport features a premium Marzocchi suspension setup that comes with adjustable preload and rear monoshock. For braking here you get Michalin Anaki dual-sport tires and alloy wheels with Brembo Stylema calipers. The bike also gets a 5-inch high contrast TFT display, LED DRL with full LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, cancellable traction control and many other components. The company has started booking the bike and soon it will be delivered to the customers. This middleweight adventure bike will compete with the BMW F750 GS and the Ducati Multistrada 950.
