Maserati India has launched the 2021 Ghibli Luxury Sports Sedan Range in India, whose ex-showroom price starts at Rs 1.15 crore and goes up to Rs 1.93 crore for the top model. The new series has been introduced with many changes including a hybrid engine that will support the already available V6 and V6 petrol engines. Apart from this, features and style updates have also been made in the car. There are some three engine options with this sports sedan, out of which two engines are derived from Gran Lusso and Gran Sport.

Visually, the 2021 Maserati Ghibli comes in a fresh look that is well-known, but comes with a sharp-looking face, fully adaptive LED matrix headlamps, signature grille, and Boomerang-shaped LED taillights inspired by the Maserati 3200 GT. Maserati India has built the new car on a mild steel chassis whose weight is divided into a 50:50 ratio. Nerissimo and Nerissime carbon packages can also be taken with the new luxury sedan, while the company continues to sell Gran Lusso and Gran Sport luxury models.

With the 2021 Maserati Ghibli, Brembo brakes and calipers as before, better exhaust, sensor-tracked skyhook suspension at each wheel and automatic adjusting dampers are provided. Other features of the car include easy-to-close doors, keyless entry, kick trunk with power trunk and level 2 ADAS that equip the car with an autonomous driving feature. This feature has also contributed a lot in getting the car a 5-star safety rating in the global NCAP.

Many changes have been made to the cabin of the car, in which the changed layout is first seen. Among the biggest changes is the new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Maserati Connect, in addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Connected to the car is the car technology that can be run by the smartphone's app and it transmits a lot of information to the driver. A 7-inch digital instrument console, new upholstery and many more are provided with the car.

Maserati has provided three engine options with the new Ghibli sedan. The Maserati Ghibli Hybrid is the cheapest car in the range that produces 325 Bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque. The 3.0-liter V6 engine produces 424 Bhp of power and 580 Nm of peak torque, while the 3.8-liter V8 Trofeo version produces 572 Bhp of power and 730 Nm of peak torque. The Gibli Trofeo has a maximum speed of 326 km / h.
