Bajaj Auto has launched the Platina 100 Electric Start in the Indian market by updating. The new 2021 Platina has been priced at Rs 53,920 in Delhi and remains the cheapest electric start bike in the market with this price. The electric start model of the motorcycle has been given new features including spring-in-spring suspension, tubeless tires, etc. The two-wheeler manufacturer launched the kick-start model of the Platina 100 in December last year and its Ex-showroom price in Delhi was fixed at Rs 51,667.

New rearview mirrors have been given to give a fresh look to the new Bajaj Platina 100ES. The bike is now available in silver decals with two new colors - Cocktail Wine Red and Ebony Black. Booking of the motorcycle has started at Bajaj dealerships across the country. Apart from the new features, many more features like 20mm long front and rear suspension, long seat, LED DRL headlamps and wide rubber footpegs have been given. CBS has drum brakes in the front and rear wheels of the new bike.

Bajaj Auto has given a 102 cc single-cylinder, SOHC, air-cooled engine with BS6 standards with the new Platina 100ES. This engine with DTS-i technology produces 7.77 bhp power at 7,500 pm and 8.3 Nm peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The company has equipped this engine with a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox. It is claimed that the new Platina 100 ES has a maximum speed of 90 km / h.
