Bajaj Auto has launched a new Platina 110 ABS model in the country, whose ex-showroom price in Delhi has been kept at Rs 65,930. Currently, the only Bajaj Platina 110 ABS in this segment is the only bike with antilock braking technology and 240 mm disc brake has been given in the front wheel of the bike for this system. Recently, Bajaj has launched the Platina 100ES or the electric start model, which is said to be the cheapest self start system motorcycle in the segment.

In India, ABS has been made mandatory for only 125 cc or more two-wheelers. In such a situation, giving ABS with a 110 cc motorcycle is a welcome decision in the segment. The antilock comes with a braking system or ABS electronic controller that monitors the speed of the wheel during sudden or tight braking, and provides strong braking with tactile impact, which is not possible by humans. For this purpose, this system eliminates wheel jamming, which reduces the risk of slipping.
